Trying to find an ingenuitive vegan restaurant is very difficult, but maybe you haven’t tried this place! The owners are very nice and pleasant people who make themselves known and want you to enjoy yourself. The food is unlike anything else you have ever tasted and the fact that they give you a sampling of their “meats” if you are a first-timer is unheard of. After eating here twice now, I can say this is a must try for even non vegans! The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. Please don’t let the smell and the loud speaker playing music run you off from this lovely establishment. We need more places like this!

We LOVED that their proteins are made from actual plants! No impossible meat of any type or even tofu. They also gave us samples of cornbread & couple of their proteins which were SO good!!!! We got: *Buffalo fries- they were flavorful but tasted more like bbq fries & a little too drenched in sauce. *Mac n cheese- so yummy. Even better as leftovers. *Philly cheesesteak- Good! but a bit too saucy. *Nacho chikn strips & fries. I liked the fried chicken a lot & the toppings & cheese & sauces on top were good too!! We ordered even moreeee to take for later for din din: *we got the crispy chikn sammich which was so good & flavorful, as well as a side of dirty rice- it was jasmine rice with several proteins mixed in. We both liked this! *Mine isn't pictured but I got the fish taco & chikn taco. Both were great, I loved the fish taco ! Overall, we would definitely recommend. The owner came out to give us samples & he was really nice. The female serving us [the owners daughter] was so cute & informative & helpful & friendly! We were just passing through town, but if we end up here again we would totally return to try everything on the menu!!!!!!

My wife and I had looked up Kravegan before coming to Jacksonville and wanted to visit before leaving the area. We are glad we did, the good is awesome! The staff was friendly and informative. The first thing that is offered if you have never been to Kravegan is a taste test sampler of the types of plant based protiens that are used to see which one you would like to have in your dish. There is the meatless Ribs, Beefless Roast and Jackfruit. We both selected the Beefless Roast (my wife had the dinner portion with collard greens and black eyes peas and I had the single taco with fries) which is the favorite among customers. The atmosphere was great and the berry sweet tea we had was outstanding. I would definitely recommend Kravegan to anyone, meat-eaters to vegans. We will be back again when we come back to Jacksonville.

The service was incredible. I haven't been treated with such kindness and thoughtfulness at a restaurant ever in my life. The young person who served me greeted warmly, gave me delicious cornbread to start, allowed me to sample their fantastic protein options, kept my water glass full, and even *offered* freshly sliced lemons for my water. The food was excellent. They have it down to an art and science. Atmosphere was very welcoming and calming. I love this place!

It’s an honor to make the 500th rating. I visited the last of January. Everything from the welcome to the Atmosphere to the food was more than amazing. Was my first and definitely not our last visit. Thanks for stellar service. Google needs to add more stars.

KraVegan is an experience! The cornbread and samplers in the beginning really make choosing difficult but also provides clarity. First time at a vegan restaurant that I can taste the proteins to ensure I order what would best please my palate. The lemonade is AMAZING. I don’t even like lemonade to be honest but it was freshly made and I had to try it and it was probably my best decision. I got the Burger and fries. It was great! Fries cooked perfectly and the “burger” was flavorful. Highly recommend.

So, let me tell you by saying for it being our first time this place has been top notch on service and the hospitality . I love how the owners wife came up to us and took in consideration of my moms surgery she had a few days on not making food too spicy. So, Octavia our server handed us some samples of their beef, ribs n chicken which was so delicious . And then their pomegranate blueberry juice was soo good .. and the owners were sooo nice like genuinely kind and considerate which is why we will be returning thank you for the lovely service and food ..

This by far is the best dinner I've had in Jacksonville. My husband and I went here for our last night and I wish I could be here another night to visit. I got the vegan beefless roast with collard greens. I also ate the best black eyed peas that I have ever had in a restaurant, vegan or not. My husband had a beefless roast taco, and amazing fries. I say alot is good of places here in Jacksonville are good, but kravgen is great, amazing, etc.! Great friendly staff, we will return. Thank you.
